1990. Hristo leaves for Canada. So do nearly 2000 young Bulgarians who, during the cold winter, miraculously find themselves in the vast northern country and start seeking asylum from the official authorities.
Here they are: Hristo, Sasho, Rumen, Vesela, Vesselina, Lyubo, Kiril, Stanjo, Petyo and Fory – all of them bits from Bulgaria. We see them in Canada today, with their destinies and memories.
