Uruguay native Charlie Arturaola is one of the most outstanding wine experts in the world; considered to be the owner of one of the most refined noses by the American Association of Sommeliers. Carreras asked Arturaola to play the part of an oenologist who loses his sense of smell and taste for precisely this reason. Combining fiction with true characters and places, The Ways of Wine leads the main protagonist to the place where he was born in order to facilitate him to regain both his gift and the joy of life.
