Nanook and his wife Sedna are living in endless ice and snow. As reindeer hunters they are part of an old tradition but how much longer? When Sedna falls seriously ill, Nanook has to reconcile with their daughter Aga who had turned away from traditional life. Suddenly Nanook has to cope with a world he don´t unterstand and which offers no place for someone like him.
